DESPITE scoring 27 points, including four tries to earn themselves a bonus point, Kendal still lost this match.
Too many unforced errors and missed tackles cost Kendal dearly as well as poor scrummaging at crucial times during the match.
A forced pass in midfield, which was gratefully collected by Tynedale, resulted in Tynedale scoring the first of their six tries.
Centre Jake White crossed the try line but the referee was playing advantage for Kendal being caught offside by the counter attack and awarded a penalty try which centre Phil Belgian converted.
White was heavily involved in Tynedale's second try. Stand-off Gavin Beasley followed his outside break at pace to take his pass and score beneath the posts. Belgian again converted and added a penalty six minutes later when Kendal were penalised for being offside.
Kendal wasted a good scoring opportunity in the 18th minute when after building a period of pressure in the Tynedale 22, their penalty kick to the corner was misjudged and kicked dead. They did, however, keep the pressure on Tynedale in terms of territory but lacked the cutting edge to turn this into points.
The best try scoring chance came from full back Simon Mulholland, who burst through the home defence, and rightly, backed himself to make the tryline. However, he was surprisingly caught and Kendal, with players in support, managed not to score.
For all their hard work and endeavour in the second quarter of the match they had to settle for a sole Dan Stephens penalty in the 28th minute.
Tynedale scored totally against the run of play with only their third visit into the Kendal 22 five minutes later. Right wing Ben Duncan did the damage and Belgian added the extras to give his side an unbelievable 24-3 half-time lead.
Kendal did what they had to do at the start of the second half - score the next try. Jon Ladell finished a flowing move down the right, with Dan Stephens converting.
Unfortunately Kendal could not add to this tally before Tynedale scored tries four and five, aided by some very poor organisation and tackling in defence.
No.8 Andrew Murray and centre Phil Belgian, who had an easy run in under the posts, scored them, Belgian converted both.
Kendal to their credit hit back with two quick tries of their own, something they had been unable to accomplish in the first half.
Centre Martin Armstrong finished some excellent groundwork by his forwards with replacement prop Allen Martindale snapping up a loose ball to set up the platform.
Four minutes later Ladell scored his second when he successfully chased scrum-half Mark Airey's chip down the touchline.
The Tynedale full back took full advantage when he walked through a sleeping Kendal defence to score Tynedale's sixth and final try. The accurate boot of Belgian added the conversion to complete a personal haul of 20 points.
Kendal's replacement winger Chris Park claimed the bonus point three minutes before the end when he was put clear by replacement Andrew Holcroft after good work from second row Liam Hayton.
