BRADLEY Perie has put himself in pole position for a shot at the Thundersport GB 650cc Supertwin Championship after a hat-trick of victories on his last outing.
The 15-year-old from Kendal is in third place overall heading in to the fifth round at Oulton Park in Cheshire this weekend where double points will be up for grabs.
Perie was named the Championship Contender and the One to Beat following a fantastic debut season last year and despite a number of mishaps and mechanic failures, he remains firmly in the hunt for honours - especially after his treble success at Cadwell Park last time out.
Perie arrived with a new engine and electronics package in his Kawasaki 650cc and responded with three superb victories.
Making pole positions hasn't been a problem for Perie all season but problems not of his own making have proved costly.
In the first event of the season at Brands Hatch, Perie opened with a second and third place in the Saturday races but a broken gear box broke meant he could not compete on the Sunday.
It was another fractured weekend of racing in the next meeting in Donnington Park.
After starting in pole position, Perie went on to win the first race but a bad crash in race two put him and his bike out of action for the rest of the weekend.
At Snetterton, two more wins followed to more pole positions and a third was on the cards until an electrical fault while leading by eight seconds ended Perie's involvement.
But everything came good at Cadwell Park and more success at Oulton Park, with plenty of points up for grabs, could see Perie climb the leaders board.
