JAMES Ellison heads to Oulton Park full of confidence after his first MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship double at Brands Hatch last weekend.
But he is warning his fans not to expect him to produce results like that every round.
The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider is second in the standings after two rounds just six points behind Shane Byrne following his Brands Hatch double and opening round win at Donington.
But the 34-year-old from Kendal is expecting a tough battle on the Cheshire circuit.
"My confidence is always high coming into rounds, but it is nice to have the run of the win at Donington and two at Brands Hatch," said.
"But then all of a sudden, it's like everyone expects that every weekend and that isn't going to happen, especially in BSB, and not at this level with the riders in it.
"We have to be realistic; some riders are strong at some circuits and some at others, like Oulton Park where the sectors are a bit different, so it is about finding the balance.
"Next weekend is going to be tough as it is so close there, so I am going to prepare for it as normal and just do the best job we can.
"There is definitely a lot of pressure because of the results we had at Brands Hatch, but I am not going to let that affect me."
