KENDAL men lost their third game of the season 4-0 against Leyland Foxes in North West Division Five (North).
Kendal began the game badly as for the first ten minutes they were slow to react and not playing as a unit.
However, they improved as the game went on and began to dominate the rest of the first half but Leyland were able to create breaks that threatened Kendal's defence.
Just before half-time, the visitors scored with one such break but the second half began brightly for Kendal, who felt they still had a chance of to win.
A couple of decisions went against the home team and, as heads began to drop, Kendal began to try more difficult longer passes instead of more effective close interplay.
Three goals followed, all scored by the visitors, as the team lost its shape in the final quarter of an hour.
The scoreline would have been worse, however, were it not for Kendal's man of the match goalkeeper Rogan Chacko who made a string of good saves.
NW DIVISION 9 (North)
leaders Windermere men took another three points with a workmanlike 4-2 win over Didsbury Northern for their second home fixture of the season on Saturday.
A solid and disciplined performance proved too much for the visitors from the starting whistle, and it was only minutes before Windermere appeared on the scoresheet.
Sam Crompton (1 goal)
produced some superb surging runs down the wing and, alongside Steve Heynes, Scott Santamara, Michael Hodgson (2) and David Spiby (1), he helped put together some well rehearsed setpieces which in turn resulted in shots being hammered in from all angles.
A calm and formidable back line made the visitors fractious in their efforts to penetrate the goalmouth and only questionable scraps around the goalmouth allowed them to claw back two goals.
