Kendal 0 - 3 University of Durham
KENDAL slipped to their fourth defeat of the season losing out to mid-table side the University of Durham at Kirkbie Kendal School.
The home side started well and battled hard for the opening 20 minutes with both sides denied goals before Durham managed to take the lead just before half time with a fantastic drag flick short corner.
Kendal keeper Fiona Battersby got injured in the opening stages of the second half as Kendal were being stretched.
Their defence worked exceptionally hard to try to keep the ball at bay after this but Durham managed to get a further two goals.
Kendal will be hoping to get back on track when the host Ben Rhydding on Sunday at 12.30pm.
