WE got a lifeline into the plays-off, but it disappeared at North Ferriby on Saturday.
We looked tired and a few of the team looked as if they wanted the season over and it was overall a disappointing display.
We did not start right, they are a good side, and we could not handle Ferriby's movement but we got a goal and finished the first half strongly and looked the better side.
For whatever reason we never really got going in the second half and found ourselves 3-1 down.
To be fair we kept battling to the end but the game was gone by then.
There's been no consistency from us and you need that if you are to do well in this league.
I know the players I want to stay and we'll regroup and have another go next season.
We have to stay upbeat and we'll get better and stronger.
We need four or five players and more experience and I have alrerady a couple of players I want to bring in during the close season.
We need three more leaders because we are a quiet dressing-room, but they have to grow up and grow up quic kbecause I'm not missing about - we want to be in the top three from the start.
They let themselves down but it's not happened very often and I'm sure it will be a diffferent stroy for our last home game of the season."
