A GROUP of South Pacific boxers had their first glimpse of snow this week as the Arctic conditions graced the South Lakes.
Nauru's Joseph Deireragea, Colin Caleb and Tim Ika had never encountered snow before arriving in Kendal to train at Kendal Dojo.
But now they are sending pictures back to their homeland - the smallest republic nation in the world - of their first go in the snow.
The trio not only cleared the lane leading to Kendal Dojo, but also made snow angels, before building a snowman for the club.
