KIRKBIE Kendal School dominated the South Lakes District Cross Country Championships at Cartmel Racecourse.
The school’s Imogen Burrow (minor girls), Chris Richards (junior boys) and Mike Hoyle (senior boys) all lifted their district titles, while there were also team victories in the inter boys and girls events as well as the junior boys and girls categories.
Sedbergh School’s Eilidh Sproul was the winner of the senior girls race as she helped the senior girls team to victory, a win matched by the school’s senior boys.
Cole Blaikie from Queen Katherine School won the minor boys contest, with Bella Gray from Casterton School winning the inter girls competition.
Home schooled Will Smith was the inter boys winner while Dallam School’s Sarah Thompson raced to victory in the junior girls event.
Queen Elizabeth School at Kirkby Lonsdale won both the minor boys and minor girls team events.
