Gymnastics - Kendal can boast North champion
KENDAL School of Gymnastics has a North of England champion in its ranks.
The Kendal club one of its best-ever days at the prestigious North of England Pre-Elite Championships at Newcastle.
Facing opposition against the region’s top clubs, four of the club’s gymnasts produced superb performances.
Stevie Selby excelled on all four pieces to capture the gold medal and trophy as North of England champion at 13-and-under, while Alice Bowler took the bronze in the senior age group.
Rachel Camp with a seventh place in the seniors and Rebecca Hill, 10th in the 13-and-under, completed a sensational all-round result for the squad.
