FC HALIFAX Town are calling for volunteers as they battle the winter weather to get tomorrow's (Tuesday)game against Kendal Town on.

But the weather could be against the Yorkshire outfit with heavy snow expected in the area overnight.

On the club's website fans are being urged to turn up at the ground from 9.30am with shovels to clear snow from the pitch, walkways and the car park.

The game is scheduled to take place at 7.45pm but with heavy snow showers expected from 9pm tonight, right through until tomorrow morning, Kendal could face a second postponement in four days, having seen Saturday's match against Worksop Town fall victim to the snow.
