ANOTHER BLEAK afternoon for Kendal saw them slither to a ninth successive National League defeat at the hands of Macclesfield, losing 40-3 at Mint Bridge on Saturday.
Macclesfield even spurned easy points by missing three kickable penalties before they opened with the first of their six tries in the 12th minute.
Scrum-half Andrew Boardley kicked a penalty four mintues later to make it 6-3 but that was Kendal's only score of the match.
Instead Macclesfield grew in authority and scored two more converted tries before half time to lead 19-3.
Kendal saw more of the ball in the second half, with full back Simon Mulholland making a couple of breaks that they could not finish, and instead Macclesfield came back to score three more tries against tiring rivals on the cut-up pitch.
