ROWING: Kendal athlete Sue Little (right) will have another tilt at the British Indoor Rowing Championships at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, on Sunday.
Sue (54) won a gold medal at the event last year and will be looking to repeat that success this year against up to 3,000 other fitness enthusiasts.
Each competitor will race over the Olympic regatta distance of 2,000m on Concept 2 Indoor Rowers in their age and weight categories.
The event will also see the Boat Race squads from the Oxford and Cambridge Universities race taking part along with the full GB rowing team, including the current and up-and-coming stars seeking selection for the Beijing Olympics. Racing in the Women's 50-54 Lightweight category, Sue is hoping her performance will be enough to expand her medal collection again this year.
