TEAMS of people around the country will attempt to climb the height of 14 mountains on indoor climbing walls to raise money for WaterAid - and you could take part in Kendal.
On November 11, people will try to do the equivalent of scaling the world's 14 mountains all over 8,000m, albeit without facing the terrifying conditions of the Death Zone' or risking frostbite.
By taking part in challenge 8000 you will help provide the poorest people of Africa and Asia with safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
Anyone who would like to take part in the climb at Kendal wall, no experience is necessary, should email Jo Ratcliffe at jo.ratcliffe@environment-agency.gov.uk or visit www.wateraidchallenge8000.org for more information and to register online.
