KENDAL MotoGP rider James Ellison was coy about his future plans in a post-race interview on TV at the Grand Prix of Turkey, fuelling rumours he might be about the move to a high-profile team.
Ellison has been dogged recently by an elbow injury sustained in a crash in August, and even before Sunday's race was reporting limited mobility, having found two stitches still in the arm.
He finished out of the points in 18th when he was forced to call into the pits to change a rear tyre on his Blata/WCM.
Ellison put in some impressive laps on his new rubber but it was too late to claim any points behind first-time winner 23-year-old Italian Marco Melandri, who beat newly-crowned champion Valentino Rossi.
