HE'S back. Striker Kenny Mayers struck twice on his return from suspension to give Kendal Town a 3-2 win at Ossett Albion on Saturday.
Town went ahead in this UniBond League first division clash through a David Foster goal on 24 minutes, but that lead lasted for just 11 minutes before Albion scored the first of two penalties, Toronczak netting as the sides went to half time on level terms.
A second Albion penalty, tucked away by the same player, made it 2-1 to Ossett but Mayers cancelled it out in the 62nd minutes and then added the winner - his 15th league goal of the season - six minutes before the end of normal time to seal the three points that lifts Town up two places into seventh but with matches in hand on all off the leading six sides.
