KENDAL have struck a vibrant seam of form but supporters will have to wait for another four weeks before watching their team back in action at Mint Bridge, writes Richard Daniels.
A 20-8 win over New Brighton last Saturday was the fourth league victory in a row, but it will be February 19 before they again play on home territory.
Their travels begin this weekend with the longest league trip of the season to Bedford Athletic, the bottom club in National League Division 3 North, and a key target to maintain Kendal's bid to move up from seventh in the table.
A trip to Fylde on February 5 follows and the rest of the month features a blank weekend on February 12 before Darlington Mowden Park visit (February 19). They go to Bradford and Bingley on February 26 and entertain Tynedale on March 5.
Prop Billy Coxon is on "maternity duty" with his wife expecting their second child and does not go on the overnight-stop trip to Bedford.
Allen Martindale takes his place in the front row, while Mark Bowman starts at flanker instead of Liam Hayton, who is on the bench.
