ORGANISERS the 24th annual Coniston 14 road race say entry looks set to be closed earlier than ever before because of the demand for places.

A total of 1350 entries have been already accepted out of the safety-limit maximum of 1800 for this year's race on Saturday, March 19 (11am start).

A maximum field is the norm for the popular event, which is used by many as a training run for the London Marathon three weeks later. For the entry form, see link below
