AFTER surviving a torrid first half, Ingleton netted three goals to go through to the semi-final of the Craven Senior Cup.

Opponents Skipton LMS dominated the first 45 minutes, but Ingleton's defence held and after Oliver Driver gave them a lead early in the second half they never looked back.

Driver scored a second and young Darren Blacow added the third for a comfortable 3-0 victory.

Kirkby Lonsdale crushed last season's North Lancashire League champions Slyne-Hest 6-1 to open up a seven-point lead in the Premier Division.

Man of the match Chris Vincent scored four excellent goals, midfield dynamo Brian Pennington and Alex Taylor adding the others.

Arnside moved off the foot of the division thanks to a 2-0 victory over Power Station. Goals came from the experienced Steve Pearson and youngster Jack Hawcroft.

Cartmel Reserves made First Division leaders Torrisholme fight all the way for their 3-1 victory.

From a goal behind Cartmel clawed their way back to equality at half-time with a goal by veteran Paul Airey.

Cartmel's stout defence then held off Torrisholme for much of the second half, but the visitors eventually went ahead through a penalty.

The village side then peppered the Torrisholme goal as they sought an equaliser, but were caught on the breakaway with the visitors scoring just before the final whistle.

Second bottom Allithwaite Rangers picked up vital points when they held mid-table Storeys Reserves to a 2-2 draw.

Allithwaite played the better football and deserved their 1-0 lead through a Dave Addison strike.

Storeys equalised early in the second half, but Michael Crowe restored Allithwaite's lead, but they could not press home the advantage and Storeys equalised again to salvage a point.

Swarthmoor Social Club's promotion hopes dipped again when they were comprehensively beaten 5-1 by bottom club Morecambe Royals Reserves. Graham Wilcock scored the Swarthmoor goal.

Ingleton Reserves thrashed Millhead 7-0.

Millhead held out for 20 minutes, but their game collapsed after Alex Hartley scored. Hartley doubled the lead and just before half-time David Baren made the game safe.

In the second half Baren scored again with Dave Shaw (2) and David Preece also on target.

The local derby between Holme Athletic and Burton Thistle ended in a 3-3 draw.

Burton took the lead with a brilliant Phil Allott header, but Lee Hargreaves equalised.

Burton restored their advantage through Steve Mason, but Holme again battled back with a Graham Dodds goal.

For a third time Burton went ahead when Mark Smith scored from close in, but with the last kick of the game Andrew Murphy equalised.

In the Scotts Sports/Whiteside Second Division Cup, Grange lost 2-1 to Bolton-le-Sands in an exciting end-to-end match.

Grange carved out the majority of the chances but were held at bay by veteran keeper Adrian Busby.

Two-nil down midway through the second half, Grange could have lost heart but rallied and Craig Turner at last beat Busby.

If not for poor finishing it would have been Grange going in to the semi-final.

Unbeaten Bentham stay top of Division Two after beating third-placed Morecambe Hoops 3-2. James Earnshaw opened the scoring for Bentham and top scorer Gary Louth netted twice in a bad-tempered game where seven players were cautioned and one sent off.

Fylde gained ample revenge for an earlier 6-1 defeat by trouncing Arnside Reserves 10-1. Michael Bellamy scored a good consolation goal.

John Rattigan scored a hat-trick as Swarthmoor Reserves enjoyed a good 4-2 win over Bare Rovers. Mark Bradley hit the fourth Swarthmoor goal.

Division Three leaders Carnforth Rangers have won all 13 of their matches this season. On Saturday they beat Park 2-1 thanks to goals by Seamus Gorton and Michael Whitam.

Second-placed Central Pier are 10 points behind despite beating Allithwaite Reserves 3-1. Craig Benson scored for Allithwaite.

Burton Thistle Reserves beat Moorlands 2-1. Gary Wilkinson scored twice, hitting the winner from the penalty spot.

Grange Reserves turned up with a weakened team and no substitutes against Gregson, but did all the running and were rewarded with a 1-0 victory, William McDonald finding the target.

Millhead Reserves surprised promotion hopefuls Pendle Dynamos, beating them 5-2 with goals by Anthony Leonard (2), Jamie Nicholls and Michael Sprules (2).
