KENDAL dropped out of the UniBond League First Division play-off places when they crashed 4-1 at Telford in the UniBond League's First Division on Monday.
The home side opened up a 2-0 first half lead with Perry netting on 22 minutes and Drysdale in the 27th.
Town squandered several chances of getting back into the match before Carter made it 3-0 for the home side in the 71st minute.
Lee Ashcroft gave Town brief hope when the scored in the 76th minute, but it was dashed just 60 seconds later when Kendal conceded a penalty, which Carter hammered home from the spot.
Now Town must pick themselves up for another tough test on Saturday when second in the table Ilkeston Town visit Parkside. Kick-off is at 3pm.
