MILNTHORPE Corinthians' slump continued at the weekend with 5-1 defeat by Springfields.
Corinthians, relegated from the Aegon Premier Division last season, now find themselves anchored to the foot of the First Division with no wins and just two draws from 10 outings.
Meanwhile Carnforth Rangers moved into second place in the division with a 1-0 victory over Whinney Hill.
Millom picked up three points for a hard-earned 3-2 win at Burnley Belvedere, O'Brien, Banks and Patterson netting, while Crooklands Casuals were held to a 2-2 draw by Crosshills, Steven Benson and Mike Park scoring.
Furness Rovers lost 2-0 at home to Blackpool Wren Rovers.
Dalton United and Burnley United battled for pole position in the Premier Division with Burnley taking the spoils 4-3 in a nail-biting end-to-end thriller.
The result leaves Dalton joint third with Turton and their goalscorers were Dave Addenbrook, Lee O'Keefe and Steve Brennan.
At the foot of the division BAE Barrow SC gained their first point in a 1-1 draw at Wyre Villa with Andrew Oxley on target.
In Division Two, GSK Ulverston Rangers drew 1-1 with Haslingden St Mary's, with Marty Waddell on target. Furness Cavaliers lost 4-2 at Lancashire Constabulary and Askam United were beaten 2-0 at Thornton Cleveleys.
