After 162 miles and 30 hours of competition, Keith and Helen Hall from Reagill, near Kirkby Stephen, took 12th place overall in their Subaru Impreza 2000 and the award for the first mixed crew in last weekend's Tour of Mull Rally.
The Halls led in the Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club contingent, just 1 minute 38 seconds ahead of Kendal's Dave Thwaites/Tony Walker, who were 15th in their ProPrep prepared Escort Mk II.
This pair took the trophies for first in class and most pristine car.
Ian Rooke, from Penrith, and Katy Mashiter, of Morecambe, got their Bainbridge Joinery Escort Mk II to the finish in 32nd and eighth in class after their Westmorland Road Rally triumph a couple of weeks earlier.
Hellifield's Paul Redford/Phil Peak finished 66th on their first Tour after alternator and gearbox challenges.
Leven's Paul Whitelock/Jake Carlin survived, having to service for themselves with Paul's mum Catherine's help in providing emergency service between the stages, to get their Goodfellow's Tyres supported Peugeot 205 GTi into 66th.
Unfortunately dad Miles Whitelock and Grange-over-Sands' Ian Curwen were unable to finish after getting stuck in a bog on the 17th stage out of 19.
Another non-finisher was Appleby's Dougi Hall and Scott Bainbridge, who were fourth overall when the Mitsubishi Evo 8 snapped a half-shaft on the second of the afternoon stages.
They replaced the half-shaft before going out on Saturday night and wining the Trophy Rally by nearly three and a half minutes. The MTP Sierra Cosworth of Kendal's Paul Miller and Helen Davies was 75th after a second-stage puncture.
Storming back up the leaderboard on Saturday. the gearbox failed on the final stage and put paid to their efforts.
Despite a replacement gearbox and starting the Trophy Rally another "off"
during the difficult uphill hairpins of the first stage that night was the final straw.
