Five goals were hammered in as Town soared above Woodley in the UniBond League First Division table.
In the first minute a free-kick was floated in by Paul Rigby was met by Dene Whittal-Williams who headed home.
Woodley equalised on 32 minutes. A badly directed clearance header from left-back Russ McKenna hit midfielder Dave Woodruffe's back and fell for Woodley's Russell Headley to net from four yards.
Three minutes later Town restored their advantage when Kenny Mayers played a diagonal ball for Lee Ashcroft to blast past the keeper.
In the 54th minute Nigel Taylor hammered a 20-yard free-kick round the edge of the Woodley wall and inside the left hand post for 3-1.
After several squandered chances striker David Foster finally came good in the 72nd minute when an excellent long ball over the top by McKenna presented him with a one-on-one chance in centre field. Foster had time to pick his spot and direct the ball inside the right hand post.
Ashcroft rounded off the scoring in added time wirth a classy curving 29-yarder round a defender and the keeper.
