Riding in the last local time trial of 2004, the Pendle Forest CC 10 at Garstang, Furness rider Jon Evans signed off with a zippy 21mins 55secs behind winner Ian Stott, of Blackburn CTC, who clocked 21-12.
Kent Valley Road Club veteran John Ingham rode 22-04 and Mike Speight (BCW) 23-25. Ian Padley (KV) did 24-34 and his wife Sharon (Team Luciano) took the women's award with 24-57.
Nether Kellet roadman Ben Greenwood Recycling .co.uk /MG Xpower) won the penultimate race in the Recycling.co.uk League in fine stylem, riding away from his breakaway compatriot Leigh Cowell (Ribble Valley CRC) in the last kilometre at Bashall Eaves.
