KENDAL Cricket Club represented the Northern League as champions in the Thwaites 20-20 Final on Sunday, but the weather was not kind.
Rain forced the matches to be reduced to 10 overs as they finished third behind winners Crompton (Central Lancs League) and hosts (Great Harwood (Ribblesdale League). Kendal's Terry Hunte collected the award for man of the tounament.
Results: Crompton 83-6, Great Harwood 70-2; Kendal 74-4, Great Harwood 91-2; Kendal 24-0 (3 overs), Crompton - match abandoned.
