BRENDAN Blee gained a thrilling third win in Kendal Putting Association's Open Singles final against Chris Jones.
At the halfway stage of the 18-hole showdown, both finalists were locked on 22 strokes.
Blee went one up at the 10th but Jones levelled at the 15th and the next two holes were shared, leaving the title outcome resting on a tense final hole.
Blee took a two and his opponent three to lift the trophy again in addition to winning the season-long Grand Masters for former singles winners by a clear-cut eight points from Graham Dawson, who had the lowest round of 38, and Ian Shepherd, in second and third respectively.
