SOUTH Lakeland motorcycle privateer Glyn Ormerod goes into tomorrow's New Era Superclub Championship racing at Brands Hatch just two points off the lead.
Ormerod, from Burton-in-Kendal, is lying second as the championship, builds to a nerve-jangling climax with three riders tussling for the title.
This season's races have been packed with incident and excitement as three talented riders Tomes, Ellis and Ormerod have battled and challenged each other at circuits all over the UK.
With two meetings and four races to go the championship is too close to call.
Since racing at Oulton Park on August 7, when he won one race and crashed out of the second, Ormerod has been testing, practicing and fine tuning his bike.
He is pictured with tyre technician, and sponsor, Mark Holbeach, discussing tyre selection for the demanding Brands Hatch circuit.
