MARC Hadwin rushed the Barrow batsmen back to the pavilion on Saturday with a 6-14 return that saw him take five victims in just 11 balls, including a hat-trick.
Hadwin's leg-spin effort in wiping up the visitors' tail ensured Netherfield kept their Northern League leadership. They are now 10 points clear of Fleetwood, who look the main challengers with Morecambe and Darwen having a disappointing weekend.
After slipping to 2-2,Netherfield's innings was rejuvenated by Dale Benkenstein's 79 in a stand of 109 with Danny Welbourne (33) as they made a total of 214-7.
Barrow were reduced to 68-4 in reply after pro Rawl Lewis went for six and were all out for 109.
Kendal beat Morecambe by eight wickets in a lowing scoring match. Opener Ikram Ullah hit an unbeaten 71 out of Kendal's 90-2 as they knocked off Morecambe's 87 all out. Pro Kabir Khan took 6-25 and Kevin Howarth 4-54.
