Kent Valley had the best evening of the week for their evening 10 on Wednesday and 18 riders chose to compete.
After his surprise first club defeat of the year the previous week by just one second, Adrian Yate was out for revenge on the Milnthorpe course.
With his nemesis Doug Davies absent, he trounced the field with second-placed Paul Clavey nearly a minute and a half behind.
Thursday evenings Jungle Caf and back time-trial was cancelled because of torrential rain, thunder and lightning. But Lancaster CC's 10 at Bull Beck went ahead ande the fastest ride was by John Ingham of the Kent Valley in an excellent 23min 07sec, given the conditions.

n ON SUNDAY morning the first rider will set out in the 12-hours time- trial Championship incorporating both the VTTA National Championship and the NLTTA Championship.
Gethin Butler (Preston Wheelers), the course record holder with 287.12miles must be favourite to win as riders cover several laps of circuits in the North Fylde & Wyre areas.
Local interest will be centred on Kent Valley's Terence Tideswell, Adrian Yate and Billy Rogers KENT Valley's evening 10-mile time trial at Milnthorpe on Wednesday evening start at the earlier time of 18:45.
