OUTSTANDING performances by 15-year-old bower Chris Miller and batsman Terry Hunte saw Kendal continue their winning run in Division One of the Northern Premier League.
Darwen were on 145 and loooking for a big score when The introduction of young off-spinner Miller changed the complexion, however, as he first bowled opener Gary Jackson for 53, Three deliveries produced stumpings by Ikram Ullah and S. Grant was clean bowled as Miller recorded his first five-wicket haul for the first team, recording 5-41 from seven overs.
In reply Kendal quickly lost Ullah, caught by Jeff Hacking off Andrew Mercer, but that brought Hunte to the wicket and he lambasted the bowling with an innings of 134, his fifth league century this season as Kendal reaached 211-4.
