AFTER an indifferent start to the season Kendal Cricket have hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks and tomorrow the club will be seeking to maintain the momentum when Darwen, currently fourth in the Northern Premier League, visit Kendal's Shap Road ground. The match starts at 1pm.
On Sunday, motorists on the M6 may glimpse a fell race as runners tackle Farelton Knott in the latest of the BOFRA fell race series, while on Monday lesser mortals are offered the opportunity to increase their fitness with the latest in the Summer Series of fun runs based on Kendal Leisure Centre. This time it is a 4.1-mile run and it starts at 7pm.
With the opening of their UniBond League First Division campaign just three weeks away, Kendal Town FC are working hard at blending newcomers into their squad and on Tuesday evening they travel to Penrith for their latest pre-season friendly. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
