MILNTHORPE trimmed the sails of Westmorland League leaders Westgate, beating them by 17 runs on Saturday.
Milnthorpe batting first made 108, but that was too many for Westgate who were dismissed for 91.
Second-placed Windermere made up ground on the leaders with a cosy six-wicket win at Ibis, restricting their opponenrs to 67 all out and knocking off the runs for four wickets.
