Scrambling enthusiasts have enlisted the help of the Kendal Classic Club to help run a Revival Classic Scramble' on Sunday, June 13 at Broad Meadows Farm, Melmerby, on the Penrith to Alston road.
A large contingent of local riders has entered, on bikes that range from pre-1960 to pre-1977. There will also be a class for twinshock machines manufactured before 1984. Practice starts at 10:45am, with racing from 12:30pm.Anyone wishing to enter or help sponsor the event should contact Geoff Shuttleworth on 01524 824409.
The Kendal Club will also run a Nostalgia Scramble and Trial' on August 21 and 22.
