Netherfield's South African professional Dale Benkenstein made 63 and took 3-32 as the side earned 11 points from a drawn match with St Annes at Vernon Road in the Northern Premier League on Saturday.
Benkenstein shared in stands of 55 and 87 with Gareth White (63) and Grahame Clarke (62) as the visitors piled up 265-5 off their 57 overs.
When St Annes batted,, Benkenstein had West Indian pro Jimmy Adams caught behind for 37, and the home side were left hanging on in the last over at 188-9, with Adam Cotton not out on 46, after Craig Walmsley took 3-3 in three overs.
Benkenstein finished with 3-32.
Kendal suffered a nine-wicket defeat by Blackpool after making 153 all out.
