RESULT of the week in the Kendal and District League came in Division One when bottom team K. A. Hale B defeated unbeaten Victoria A 7-3.
Netherfield A have stretched their lead to six points as a result of their 9-1 win over Windermere A', Peter Dobson supplying their only win. Holme A retain second place, winning on the aggregate away at Levens A.
K. A. Hale A had an excellent 8-2 away victory at Ingleborough A, to take third place from Victoria A.
Abbot Hall A are showing good home form and beat Bowness A 6-4 by a one-chalk aggregate advantage.
Although Holme B lost the games 5-3 against Netherfield B, they won the aggregate to draw the match.
Victoria B remain unbeaten in Division Two by defeating another unbeaten team Arnside A 8-2 and lead the table by ten points.
All matches ended in convincing home wins, with Crosthwaite A securing their first win of the season by 9-1 against Levens B.
Subscription A also won for the first time, 7-3 against Netherfield C but remain at the bottom of the table.
Division Three has joint leaders in Staveley and Subscription B.
Staveley had a resounding 9-1 away win at struggling Sedbergh, Robert Brown scoring the only home point.
Bowness B ended Subscription B's 100 per cent record, winning 7-3. Burton mastered the Lower Holker green to defeat their C team 8-2, to move up to fourth place.
In the clash of the 'big greeen' teams, Ingleborough B inflicted a 6-4 defeat on home team Victoria C.
In Division Four, Heversham A maintained their unbeaten record by the narrowest of margins.
Although winning the games 5-3 away at Subscription C, they lost the aggregate by just one chalk and had to settle for a draw.
Levens C are joint top with Heversham A after crushing Victoria D 10-0. Netherfield D are third after their 8-2 win over Holme D. New team Allithwaite B secured their first win, accounting for previously unbeaten Crosthwaite B 8-2.
Lower Holker D moved into the top half of the table thanks to an excellent away win at Heversham B.

l RAY GOTT and Dorothy Hodgson beat Paul and Violet Dennison 21-17 in the final of a mixed pairs competition at K. A. Hale, sponsored by Willacy (Building and Landscape Supplies. In the semi-finals Gott and Hodgson beat Trevor Foxcroft and Julie Johnson 21-17. The Dennison beat Morgan Dart and Jane Griffin 21-9.
