CARUS Green is planning a special day of activities for the Country Cousins Am-Am in aid of the NSPCC on Friday, June 4.
Comedian Frank Carson will host the event which centres around the already sold-out Country Cousins charity team golf competition, held in association with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
The day incorporates the official opening of the club's new driving range and will feature the Makser long driving exhibition team, which currently hold the world record of 408 yards.
Club proprietor Graham Curtin said: "Our range is long at 350 yards, but we could end up with these guys hitting a few balls in the River Kent!"
A charity duck race is planned and, during the evening, the driving range will be cleared for entertainment from the Piccasso Brothers and Kevin Fryer, with a barbecue and a bar on hand (tickets are available at £5).
