Appleby were without a game for the second week when their fixture with Carleton Rovers was postponed, but they remain comfortably placed in mid table of the Westmorland League First Division.
Championship challengers Wetheriggs United and Kendal County played out a 1-1 draw, which benefited Coniston, who improved their position at the top of the league by hammering Victoria SC 12-1.
Coniston now lead by eight points from Kendal County and Kendal Town Res, who beat Windermere SC 1-0 on Saturday.
Reigning champions Wetheriggs Utd, in fourth place, are 13 points adrift, but have five games in hand. Sedbergh Wanderers beat Penrith Reserves 4-1 to lift themselves above second-bottom Victoria.
Lunesdale United, with only two wins in 14 games remain anchored to the foot of the division after being beaten 3-1 by Staveley United.
