MILLOM are through to round three of the West Lancashire League President's Cup following a 2-1 home win over Tempest United, Carl Waters and Steven Waugh on target.
But Furness Cavaliers went out of the Challenge Cup at the same stage, beaten 4-1 at home by Stoneclough. Mark McGladdery was on target.
In the Premier Division, BAE Systems SC visited Burnley United and lost 1-0.
Dalton United were home to Fleetwood Hesketh and were held 3-3 by the visitors, with Gareth Jones (2) and Craig May finding the net.
Division One action brought a 3-2 home defeat for Bootle at the hands of Euxton Villa, Stuart Lancaster and Brian Dawson netting for the village side.
Crooklands Casuals hosted the visit of Garstang and beat the fourth-placed side 3-1 through Paul Muspratt, Paul Bell and an own goal.
In Division Two, Askam United got over the disappointment of having their Lancashire Amateur Shield semi-final tie against Kirkham and Wesham being called off by beating visitors BAE Canberra 5-0. Marksmen for Ged Dixon's on form side were Stephen Page (2), Mike Birkett (2) and Davies.
Furness Rovers kept up the pressure on leaders Aspull with a 3-2 home win over Todmorden Borough, Newton, Myles and Taylor netting.
GSK Ulverston Rangers moved up the table with a 5-0 win over basement side Pennington, Fraser, Smith, Stevenson, Waddell and Taylor scoring the goals.
