KENDAL Town's Ladies are looking to increase their strength and add new players to their team.
The squad aim to progress in The Lancashire Woman’s County Division One North West League.
The team, managed by Chris Miller, have had a difficult start to the league season where they have picked one point from the first three games played.
Injuries and a lack of depth within the squad has left the team vulnerable in a difficult league where they are playing Adult Football against opponents where many teams have more experience and greater depth within their starting eleven.
The Lancashire Woman’s County Division One North West League consists of seven other teams along with Kendal such as Lancaster,Whitehaven,St Annes,Chipping,Cadley,Blackpool Town and Sir Tom Finney FC Development.
Kendal were previously in The North Valley Burnley Unity League until they decided to apply for The Lancashire Woman’s County League where the team wanted to test themselves and experience adult football for the first time ever.
The team play all their home games at The Parkside Road Stadium on Sunday afternoons, while they will be playing every Sunday from the end of October.
Kendal’s next game is on Sunday October 30 where they entertain second placed Whitehaven in what is sure to be another difficult game.
