CUMBRIA County Cricket Club has reached the final of the National Counties One Day Trophy competition for the third time in a row.
They beat the Oxes at Great and Little Tew Cricket Club in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
After the toss, Oxfordshire batted first. Leg spinner Nico Watt dismissed top scorers Oliver Clarke and Luke Charlesworth, the latter of which included an impressive ankle-height catch.
When Cumbria went to bat, Fielding and Walkden contributed 77 together, taking the visitors to 183/4 off 36.2 overs. When Fielding was bowled out, Walkden and Grey put in another 25 before Walkden was caught.
Grey swept a four towards the scoreboard after being joined by Glendinning to secure victory with four wickets and almost three overs to spare.
The final of the One Day Trophy will be against Berkshire on Sunday 28 August at 11.00 am. This will be at Wormsley Cricket Pitch, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe.
