Kendal Town Football Club got through their most recent action over the weekend.
The Mintcakes travelled to play Vauxhall Motors before they face another difficult away test at Barnoldswick Town on Tuesday night.

There were plenty of positives to take from Kendal’s pre-season, the start to their league season promises to be challenging where the Mintcake’s play just two home games within their first eight.
Kendal’s pre-season gives plenty of encouragement for the Mintcake faithful which concluded with an impressive 5-2 win against Workington at Parkside Road.
Workington were without a number of their first team regulars; however, Kendal still played a team who had some first teamers involved including former Kendal town player Matty Clarke.
Kendal dominated the game and looked a threat throughout, opening the scoring after just 18 minutes when Steven Yawson outpaced Charlie Birch before finishing the ball neatly into the bottom corner.
The Mintcakes continued to press before going 2-0 up on 33 following a superb strike by Finlay Linch as Kendal held the advantage at half time.
Kendal started the second half well and were nearly 3-0 up after Tom Kilifin tried to lob the keeper from the edge of the box.
Two quick goals on the 59 and 60 minutes took the game away from Workington after Brandon Croskell Robinson evaded the offside flag before slotting home while Tom Kilifin latched onto a loose ball and fired the ball into the net.
Workington rallied and pulled a goal back from the penalty spot before Simington went close with an effort from 30 yards.
Kendal responded and made it 5-1 after Steven Yawson fired the ball into the bottom corner after collecting a back heel from Brandon Croskell Robinson.
Workington pulled another goal back after a trialist scored from 30 yards, before Kendal saw out the game to secure an impressive result.
