THOUSANDS of people braved the heat on Saturday for a day out at the races.
Saturday, July 16 saw the return of Jumping July Saturday and it did not disappoint.
The event saw thousands of people in attendance enjoying the sun and watching the events unfold.
The gates open at 9.00am, with the first race starting at 13.54pm and the last race finishing at 17.15pm.
Fans were treated to a DJ set from Kaiser Chief Ricky Wilson starting at around 6-6.30pm.
The crowds enjoyed a BBQ or picnic trackside, while others took advantage of the host of delicious local food and drink vendors on-site - including Cartmel’s famous Sticky Toffee Pudding.
