The Mint Cakes will go into the new season with a new young talent.
Nathan Hankison, 19, will start as a full back and winger for the 22/23 season.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to getting started and to making the step up to play for Kendal Town. There are some great lads here and a manager who knows me well, so I'm confident I can make an impact and help get the team back to where they should be.
He will be playing under manager Jimmy Marshall, who is also new for the season. Jimmy said: "Nathan is a fantastic young talent and one of the best locally for his age.
"He has bags of energy and pace, and can play on either side, at full back or higher up. He has the potential to become a top and player and we are excited to see him make the step up to this level."
Nathan will be sponsored by Panararmer Ltd, a home improvements company based at Heversham.
It has been a busy week for the Mint Cakes. They also signed Shaun Sailor, Martin Grundy, and re-signed Chris Wraighte. Andrew Marshall was taken on as the new assistant manager.
