CARNFORTH remains at the top of the Westmorland Cricket League’s Division One A after their latest victory over Arnside.
The side were victorious over the weekend by 14 runs.
The league also saw Silverdale defeat Milnthorpe by three wickets, with a great contribution from Rob Letcher's undefeated knock of 33.
Darren Wills also gave Milnthorpe a returning figure of 3-21.
Sedgwick routed Warton by 140 runs in the final Division One A game.
They posted a commanding total of 220-8 off 45 with Chris Evans scoring an undefeated 90, while Aaron Lomas opened with 52.
Warton were skittled out for just 80 after three wickets apiece from Chris Evans and Lee Tattersall, while Matthew McVey picked up two with Richard Hanson taking one.
Burneside defeated Shireshead by nine wickets in Division One B, Matthew Hartley's return of 5-13 saw Shireshead bowled out for 78, before Simon Huck's undefeated knock of 20 saw Burneside race to victory closing on 82-1 off 16.1 overs.
Heysham defeated Bare by 178 runs.
Heysham’s top order all contributed to a dominating first innings with G Carter posting 52 and Damien Keegan making 40.
Bare's James Ferguson picked up figures of 5-74 after Heysham were bowled out for 241 off 44.2 overs.
In reply, Heysham’s S McClements return of 6-28 ripped through Bare who were bowled out for 63 in just under 25.5 overs while Matthew Hannigan's return of 4-16 saw Westgate defeat Trimpell by 8 wickets.
Carnforth seconds defeated Cartmel by 6 wickets in Division Two A, and Kirkby Lonsdale took the win by four wickets at Sedbergh.
The game between Shireshead and Ingleton ended in a draw.
Harris Woods return of 4-32 and Thomas Russell's undefeated knock of 65 saw Netherfield Thirds remain top of Division Two B following their four-wicket win over Holme.
Windermere won by two at Coniston, and Westgate defeated Sedgwick by 108 runs.
The standout game in Division Three North saw Kendal Thirds squeeze past Levens Valley by 1 wicket.
