The James Cropper Westmorland Football League saw all their games postponed for a second consecutive weekend.
Persistent rain throughout the week made all pitches unplayable as the fixtures will inevitably mount up over the coming weeks and months.
And with further wet weather anticipated the league could go into its third weekend without any football across all three divisions.
However if the weather does ease up, there is set to be a full fixture list, with plenty to play for as the competition continues to heat up.
Division One league holders Keswick are scheduled to entertain Ibis at Fitz Park.
Keswick will be hoping to go four points behind league leaders Appleby.
Ibis, who are ninth in the table, will provide a tough challenge for Keswick after they recently ended Appleby’s undefeated league record.
Penrith Reserves host bottom of the table Kirkby Stephen while Windermere play Wetheriggs United in The Benevolent Trophy.
Division Two leaders Keswick Reserves are 11 points clear at the top as they travel to play Sedbergh and Dent United Reserves. Third plays second as Ambleside United host Kendal United Reserves and Burneside are home to Greystoke while in The Mason and Freeman Cup AFC Carlisle entertain Kendal County Reserves.
In The Peter Daws Memorial Shield Eden Thistle play Eden United, Penrith Royal host Langwathby United, while Wetherigg United Reserves play Endmoor KGR Reserves.
And in Division Three Ullswater United play third placed Kirkoswald Reserves in the only Division Three game of the afternoon.
