MILNTHORPE Corinthians' inconsistent run of form continued in West Lancashire League Division One after they were held to a 2-2 draw at Hesketh Bank.
Corinthians were 2-0 up at half time after goals by former Kendal Town player Steve Yawson and Andrew Todd.
However Hesketh Bank battled back during the second half and goals by Danny Birkby and George Bond meant Corinthians had to settle for a share of the spoils.
Bailey Carlos’s 79th minute penalty was the difference as Kendal County edged to a hard fought 1-0 win at Ulverston Rangers.
Kendal United won 3-0 at Storeys in Division Two with Sam Hunter, Aiden Dent and Kyle Hansen on target.
In the Junior Cup, Milnthorpe Corinthians Reserves progressed into the next round following a 3-1 win after extra time victory against Kirkby Lonsdale.
Harry Clark, Dan Newell and a Connor Adams penalty edged the hosts to victory against a strong Kirkby team.
This weekend, Kendal County continue the defence of the Senior Challenge Cup as they entertain Keswick, in a repeat of last season’s final.
Milnthorpe Corinthians host Windermere, while in the league Kendal United travel to Chipping,
