THE Westmorland Cricket League have teamed up with the Lancashire Association of Cricket Officials to organise training for people who are interested in becoming umpires.
Stage 1 and 2 courses are being run at Carnforth CC on January 12 and 19 and a healthy number have already signed up.

The Northern League have also released their fixtures this week.
Netherfield host Chorley in their opening game on April 18 while Kendal travel to Leyland.
Kendal are the first to host the town derby as they welcome Netherfield to Shap Road on June 20 while the return at Parkside Road is set for September 5 and is the final game of the season.
