A DEPLETED Kendal County lost 4-0 at Lostock St Gerards in West Lancashire League Division One, while in Division Two Kendal United defeated Garstang Reserves 2-1.
Aiden Dent opened the scoring for hosts after 10 minutes then William Russell equalised for Garstang before David Crieries strike after 55 minutes gave United victory.
On Saturday, Kendal County entertain Stoneclough, Milnthorpe Corinthians travel to Millom, Kendal United are home to Walney Island while Corinthians Reserves are away to Haslingden St Marys Res. All games 3pm ko.
In the Westmorland League Division One, Ibis defeated Shap 4-3, Tyler James scoring a hat trick, but Andy Hayton’s side then lost 2-1 at Sedbergh and Dent United, Sam Sedgwick and Alex Fearn on target for the hosts.
United followed that up with a dramatic 3-3 draw with Penrith Reserves on Saturday where Tom Ladds, Liam Mason and Shaun Gardner were on the scoresheet.
In Division Two, Ambleside United defeated Kendal County Reserves 5-4 at Parkside Road, Charlie Routledge, Benjamin Gregg, Daniel Nevinson and Daniel Fox scoring for United with County’s replies from a Josh Cassons brace, Callum Moffatt and Dan Lowther.
Kendal United Reserves defeated Greystoke Reserves 2-0 thanks to goals by James Bennett and James Garner, while Burneside edged out Windermere Reserves 4-3, battling back from 3-1 down thanks to Jay Hayton’s hat trick and a goal by Calum Johnson.
