West Lancashire League Review
Milnthorpe Corinthians picked up a dramatic 3-2 victory against Hawcoat Park in West Lancashire League Division One.
Hawcoat Park opened the scoring after 12 minutes when Elliott Moore scored, however Corinthians battled back before going 2-1 up after goals from Matthew Knipe and Jamie Woodruff.
The visitors battled back in the second half when Moore scored his second however Milnthorpe picked up the win thanks to Sonnie Thompsons goal after 89 minutes. Milnthorpe stay in 11th place on 24 points!
In the other Division One game Millom defeated Crookland Casuals 5-0, while in Division Two, Furness Rovers edged out Mill Hill St Peters 2-1 before Charnock Richard Reserves routed Longridge Town Reserves 4-1.
Kendal County entertain Lytham Town while Milnthorpe Corinthians host Wyre Villa in Division One with both games kicking off at 3pm.
Kendal United host Windermere in the Senior Challenge Cup with the game kicking off at 2pm, Milnthorpe Corinthian Reserves have a free weekend.
