CUMBERLAND CC play their final game of the one- day MCCA trophy against Cheshire at Ernest Pass, Barrow, on Sunday.
If Cheshire win the game they will progress to the semi-final stage, one game away from Lord's. Cumberland will take the field looking for their first win of the season.
Gary Pratt captains the side in a team showing several changes from the one that lost narrowly to Herefordshire at Workington CC.
The Cumberland players will be looking to impress the selectors before the first three-day game at Sedbergh School which starts the following week, June 10-12. Netherfield CCs Ryan Brown returns to the team and Kendal's Chris Miller is looking to cement his place having performed heroically with the bat to bring the game at Workington to a close finish, finishing with 29 from 21 balls after also bowling a tidy spell.
