Cartmel's three-day Bank Holiday jumps meeting starts with Ladies Night on Saturday and Tom George's Eskimo Jack, winner of three of his last four starts, will take a lot of beating in the Grand Veteran Handicap Chase (7pm).
Super Revo looks primed to go well if lining up for the Intermediate Handicap chase (6.30pm), and local trainer Jimmy Moffatt has a likely contender in Armentieres for the Selling Handicap Hurdle (6pm).
On Monday afternoon's meeting, Orton handler Martin Todhunter had strong ammunition with Rightful Ruler (2.25pm), while Jonjo O'Neill's Once a Brownie (3.35pm), due to be partnered by A. P. McCoy, will have a strong following and is likely to go off a warm favourite.
Carlisle's new flat meeting offers some competitive flat racing on Monday afternoon.
Mark Johnston's selected must be respected (2.15pm), while Bay Boy is entered in a couple of races on the card and should go close wherever he runs.
